Release 6.5.0-dn is a major release which introduces the Analytics platform as part of DailyNomie. This analytics platform enables the data junkies amongst us Nomie users to drill down their data by using so called pivots.

Next to the Analytics platform this version also introduces the ability to reset your awards. In some cases this is needed to reflect your achievements correctly. Especially after various import/export actions.

This release is fixing a naggy bug which caused the data to be unreachable while using the CouchDB Storage option in combination with some rare network hick ups.

• fix: Reload the data in store when unreachable data is detected caused by a network hick up in combination with CouchDB Storage option

This release is introducing the Tracker Library in the Nomie 6 Open Source release which was available in the orginial Nomie 6 release.

This release is the first release with a ‘-dn’ post-fix in the number. The main Nomie repository always requires a 4-eye principle when it comes to new releases. That is normal, to make sure that releases are bug-free and working as intended. Unfortunately I was the only maintainer left of the main repository, so all new features or bug-fixes I created I could not promote to a new version… So I decided to fork the repository and start maintaining my own DailyNomie repository. Any releases from this repository you can easily recognize by the ‘-dn’ post-fix. The latest DailyNomie release is always available at https://app.dailynomie.com. This 6.4.0-dn release brings the following features and fixes:

• feature: for the line/chart bar widgets you can now plot another trackable for comparison which will persist, so the next time you go to the dashboard this additional trackable will still be plotted
• feature: for the line/chart bar widgets you can now plot statistics in the chart, like average or rolling averages.
• fix: timeframe bugs for last-7days & last week, where the line/bar chart widget were not correctly showing the timeframe when you picked ‘last week’ or ‘last 7 days’ timeframe
• fix: within the statistics setting of a trackable, comparing the trackable with other trackables was broken in the chart view. This has been fixed now👌

This release introduces a couple of new features and some bug fixes. The new features introduces some better ways to integrate plugins within the Nomie framework, including the enhancement of widget options for plugins. An important fix is introduced which is fixing an issue with location tracking where the current location was not always correctly tagged with a log entry.

This release is the first official Nomie 6 Open Source release and it introduces mainly some bug fixes and (backend) feautures which enables Nomie 6 to be maintained by the open source community while keeping the source code and release code nicely version controlled.
