Dashboard
Dashboard Options
- Add New Widget – Lets you add a new widget to the current dashboard
- Add New Dashboard – Lets you add a new Dashboard tab to the dashboard
- Edit <current dashboard> – Lets you visually edit the current dashboard by dragging/dropping or deleting
Dashboard Tabs
- The different tabs you have created as part of your Dashboard. Each tab can hold different Widgets
Dashboard Widget
- A specific Widget you have added to the Dashboard. Your dashboard can hold an unlimited amount of Widgets. The different type of Widget available are specified in a separate section.
Trackable
- This is the trackable which holds the data which is shown as part of the Widget
Timeframe
- The Timeframe for which the data is used to feed the related Widget. The Timeframe can be between 1 day and a year. This option lets you select the Timeframe you would like to use
Widget Options
- You can Edit, Move, Duplicate or Delete the selected Widget.
Widget Settings
The line and bar chart Widget have a specific option in the bottom-right corner of the widget where you can tune the following settings:
- Line/Bar Chart: You can toggle between the line and barchart
- Scale: you can toggle between a logarithmic and linear scale
- Start with Zero: You can start the y-axes with zero or your y-axes start is calculated by the datapoints avaialble
- Also Include: You can include a second trackable to be plotted on the chart. This gives you the opportunity to correlate the datapoints and trends
- Statistics: You can add statistics to your chart like a x-days rolling average or a regular average
Widget Size
You cal toggle the size of your Widget between Small, Medium or Large. Some Widgets only show a single number and can be displayed in the small size, some contain detailed charts for which a larger size would fit better.
Widget Editor
The following Widget types are available in Nomie:
- Display Value: Will display a single value for a Trackable. You can define the Trackable and the Timeframe. You can colorcode the value based on your own parameters (good/neutral/bad)
- Latest Note: Will display the latest Note for a selected Trackable.
- Bar/Line Chart: This will display a Bar or a Line chart for a selected Trackable and Timeframe
- Min / Max: This Widget will show the minimum and maximum value for a selected Trackable within a defined Timeframe
- Map: This Widget will show at which locations you created Data Notes in Nomie. It will show these locations on a map.
- Todos: This Widget will show a list of todo’s you have included in your data notes. You can include a todo in a Data Note by starting with [] followed by the title of the todo
- Mind/Body/Spirit: This Widget will show a visual which indicated to what extend you have invested in your mind/body or spirit. You can tag Trackables with either mind/body or spirit. Each time you use a tagged Trackable, the tagged catagory will be ‘counted’
- Positivity Chart: Each Trackable can be tagged with a certain positivity. Every time the Trackable is used, the average positivity is recalculated. On top of that, positivity can be tagged on the timeline tab for each individual Data Note. This Widget will plot the average positivity for the selected Timeframe
- Last Used: This Widget will show the last moment a selected Trackable is used
- Just Text: This Widget will just show the given text. This is handy when you want to divide your dashboard in certain sections with a specific header (text)
- Plugin Widgets: Nomie can be extended with Plugins. These Plugins can contain Widgets. When a plugin is installed which also provides the option for a related Plugin, the plugin will be shown as options in the list.
